Shelia, 1976 Nova Concours

Shelia is John Jr’s 1976 Chevy Nova Concours. This car has been in a family for 3 generations. Purchased originally by the grandfather of one of my life long friends Gary. After providing many years of service, it was past from grandfather to grandson, becoming Gary’s first car.

Gary drove the car for many years. After his grandfather passed away, Gary and his father decided to restore the Nova. Fate had other plans. After tearing it down and locating and purchasing a lot of the parts, Gary’s father passed away. The Nova sat in the driveway as Gary’s life went on. Fast forward to 2014. Gary sees in a post I made, that I am looking for a car for Jr. After several texts, and some phone calls, Gary makes an offer. Bring the Nova home, along with all the new parts, promise to restore her to her former glory, and she is Jr’s for the sum of…….zero.

I hope to add some updates soon to this project.
